Cycles pro rider Hannah Barnes got into cycling relatively late (through her
younger brother, Joe) and it was 2005 before she did her first MTB race, aged
18. "I love the variety of doing a bit of everything, and thats why I find
Enduro such a good fit for me," she says. Hannah’s definition of adventure has
been shaped largely by her parents. "Our parents were fully into hill running in
the summer and spending winters in Kvitavatn Norway to cross-country ski. When I
was 14, mum and dad took Joe and I out of school for a year. We sailed in our
yacht Te Bheag from Fort William around the entire Atlantic." Having grown up
living the type of adventurous life most people dream about, she only has more
adventure to look forward to. This year she is racing the Enduro World Series,
and we're sure she's gonna nail
it!
