It's
hard to believe that despite so many talented riders living in and around
England's capital, Nike's BaySixty6 remains the only covered skate park within
two hours from London. Formally 'Play Station Skatepark' it was bought out by
Nike Skateboarding two years ago and the gloomy, haggard park underwent a full
refurbishment resulting in undoubtedly the best park to ever be built under a
bridge...at least in the UK. BMX riders are only allowed to ride BaySixty6 twice
a week, with one of those sessions being a shared (and usually packed) Sunday
afternoon. The other is the now classic Tuesday 'Bike Night'. Check out some
dialled clips and lines filmed over the course of winter and spring Bike Nights
as the boys escape the wet... But not necessarily the
cold.
