Scott Genius LT700 EpicTV Gear Geek

The 2015 Scott Genius’s frame features and geometry remain largely the same as last year's model. 27.5” wheels with 170mm of rear travel controlled by a single-pivot swingarm, rocker-driven shock , 66.3 degree head angle and shock mount chip that allows you to slightly change the bikes bottom bracket height and headtube angle. However, now the LT700 model, shown here, gets Scott's full HMX carbon treatment, which they claim is 20-percent stiffer and 14-percent lighter than their standard carbon. The Genius LT700 comes with Fox’s newly revamped 36 170mm fork and Nuke shock, whose compression modes can both be uniquely controlled by Scott's TwinLoc bar mounted remote.

Scott didn't skimp on the rest of the components either.

Shimano’s top spec XTR brakes will control your speed while Sram’s X01 11 speed drivechain will get you up the hills no problem. Cable routing is all internal as is the Rockshox Stealth reverb dropper post. The Scott Genius LT700 comes in at a staggering 12.1kgs and has a recommend retail price of £7093
