Merida City Mountainbike Apeldoorn will start the season the 3rd of April
It will be a side event of the Giro d’ Italia, the
grand tour that will start in 2016 in Apeldoorn. Merida Bikes joins the event as tittle
sponsor.
City Mountainbike first race of the season will take place on sunday 3rd of April in Apeldoorn, The Netherlands. The dutch city will be the meeting point of different disciplines of cycling thanks to the events that the Giro d´Italia will organize to promote their race in particular and cycling in general. City Mountainbike will be a side event of this year Giro d’ Italia and will be sponsored by Merida Bikes.
The agreement signed between City Mountainbike and Stichthing Streetrace Apeldoorn guarantees the organization of the race for three more years, until 2018. The race will be broadcast on Eurosport and will include the UCI Women´s competition for the first time in City Mountainbike.
City Mountainbike will take place in Marketplein, the market square in Apeldoorn.
