Witlox wins women's eliminator

In the women's Eliminator, Lizzy Witlox (Team Merida) sees her chances to write history. She managed to stay ahead after a thrilling final round against Switzerland's Aline Seitz (Rose Vaujany fuelled by ultrasports). The French duo Clauzel - Clauzure were battling for third. Although it was Perrine Clauzel (Scott Creuse Oxygène Guéret) who narrowly took third place.

Witlox wins the overall classification of the women's eliminator after winning 2 World Cups. Ingrid Boe Jacobsen takes second, with Coline Clauzure followed by 20 points in third place.

The round we've all been waiting for: 2017 UCI MTB Eliminator World Cup finals in Antwerp. What we expected, actually happened. With Mingorance (ESP) and Gegenheimer (GER) throwing all their cards on the table, the French Hugo Briatta (Focus MTB Racing Team) and Lorenzo Serres (Team Pivot - EC Anduze) were looking to come away. Watch the key moments

World Cup leader Mingorance taken out

After several attempts, Briatta finally managed to win the World Cup in Antwerp. Gegenheimer comes in as second and takes out Mingorance (El Conchel FRM XC Team) - who didn't make it - as he held up with Briatta's teammate Titouan Perrin-Ganier in the semi-finals.

Meet the winners


Simon Gegenheimer (Rose Vaujany fueled by ultrasports) takes home the title and wins the overall classification of the 2017 UCI Mountain Bike Eliminator World Cup.
Lorenzo Serres (Team Pivot - EC Anduze) secures a second spot in the overall. Spain's Mingorance (El Conchel FRM XC Team) settles for third. Frenchman Hugo Briatta was the fastest in the 6th round in Antwerp and clinched his first-ever World Cup.
