The Glasgow 2018 European Championships was hailed an outstanding success with more than half a million people attending a sport session, a Festival 2018 offering or visiting the hugely popular George Square and GO LIVE! at The Green live sites in Glasgow, and 20 million tuning in to catch the action on the BBC.

2019 European Athletics Indoor Championships
The world’s athletics elite are heading to Glasgow next year for one of the biggest events on the athletics calendar, the European Athletics Indoor Championships 2019 taking place at Emirates Arena 1-3 March 2019. Don’t miss out seeing Europe’s finest shine in Scotland.
Glasgow will welcome over 600 athletes including Olympic, World and European medallists from around 50 countries, as well as our ambassador Laura Muir as she aims to defend at least one of her European Indoor Championship titles. And in the intimate Emirates Arena, you will be closer to the action than ever before.

LEN European Short Course Swimming Championships 2019
The LEN European Short Course Swimming Championships are coming!
Watch as European Champions are crowned, as Glasgow hosts the 20th edition of the championships, taking place in Tollcross International Swimming Centre between 4-8 December 2019.
Held every two years, the event will see over 500 athletes from all across Europe make their way to Glasgow to compete in 40 short course (25 metres) swimming events, across 5 days of fast-paced swimming action.
