Great
success of City Mountainbike in Belgium
The World
Champion, Fabrice Mels, won two of the three consecutive days of racing in Ghent
and Waregem and the overall classification, while the dutch and european
champion, Jeroen van Eck, won the last day in Antwerp.

The competition was
surrounded by a great atmosphere with lot of public that came by to watch the
races and the new tracks were a great success, specially the one in Waregem over
the sand and the grass around Stadionvijvers. 
Fabrice Mels also managed to keep his national champion
jersey for fourth year in a row. In the ladies competition Petra Mermans won
again the national title, the same than Steven de Roek in the masters
category.

City
Mountainbike moves to The Netherlands for the next competition. It will be two
days of racing in Rotterdam and Roosendaal the 19th and 20th of
september.
