Glasgow 2018 European Championships

Glasgow Green will be a city hotspot during the Glasgow 2018 European Championships, bringing together sport, culture and entertainment to provide 11 days of free activities.

Access is free, no tickets are required and the venue will be open daily from 10am until 7pm.
Exciting drop-in activities
From live exhibitions from The Glasgow Science Centre, have-a-go sport and fitness activities from Glasgow Sport, jaw-dropping cycling shows from The Clan – Scotland’s Cycle Stunt Team and much more, there will undoubtedly be something for everyone.
Bring your appetite
The Kitchen Garden Food Village will bring together a blend of fresh, local delicacies, live cooking demonstrations from top Scottish chefs, tasting sessions and healthy eating guidance as well as tasty snacks, meals and thirst quenching drinks from a range of specially selected Scottish food and drink producers who will be cooking up a storm.
Big Top at GO LIVE!
In celebration of Circus 250, the UK wide anniversary of the first circus ring established 250 years ago in London, Festival 2018 is building a beautiful Big Top on Glasgow Green and filling it with the best in contemporary circus from the UK & Europe. All shows are free and guaranteed to surprise and delight!

Soak up the carnival atmosphere and celebrate the moment with Capital FM, the official radio partner of GO LIVE! at the Green. Enjoy being entertained by the station’s top presenters including Des Clarke, Steven Mill, Amy Irons and Garry Spence throughout the day and enter their daily competition give-aways for the chance to win fantastic prizes.
