EUROPEAN ENDURO SERIES 2014

Un article précédent présentait les calendriers des Specialized Enduro Series et du Bluegrass Enduro Tour en 2014.  Une nouvelle série européenne, l'European Enduro Series vient de voir le jour, avec 6 compétitions, comme les autres séries :  deux en Italie, un en Suisse, un en Autriche, un en Slovénie et un en Allemagne. Le classement final se fera en gardant les 5 meilleurs résultats sur 6... Les compétitions sont autant pour les licenciés que les non-licenciés.

Le règlement, assez sommaire, est un peu différent de celui des autres enduros : à lire ici

Les horaires provisoires sont les suivants, pour chacune des manifestations : 
Samedi : Retrait des numéros de départ : de 10.00 à 17.00 heures
              Entrainement libre de 11.00 à 17.00 heures

Dimanche : Courses à partir de 08.30 h- fin de la compétition : 16.00 H et podium 30 minutes après la course

Première manche de la Cup 5 à Barchon-Blégny le 22 février prochain

L’ouverture de la saison VTT 2014 se fera le 22 février à Barchon - Blégny. La CUP5 est composée d'une série de courses d'entraînement.

Le challenge CUP5 se déroule en plusieurs manches, organisées par la FCWB, en accord avec la réglementation régionale; elle figure au calendrier MTB de la FCWB.

L'organisation de cette série à été confiée à Mr. Gilbert Geurts qui travaillera en collaboration directe avec la FCWB et la cellule VTT.

Actuellement, Gilbert Geurts cherche un organisateur pour le 8 ou 9 mars : avis aux amateurs pour organiser une épreuve tant à cette date qu'à d'autres.

En cas de choix d'une date,contactez Gilbert GEURTS, pour voir s’ il y a pas de concurrence avec la WBV.

Le 13 juillet (ou le 20) est réservé à la CUP5 d' EREZEE : date précèdant ou succèdant au Championnat national (s'il y a un candidat).

Another weekend has come and gone in Spain, which means Matt is in the office early on Monday and, um...having the time of his life. Of course, even professional mountain bikers have work obligations. In Matt's case, it's 'Mini-Flip Mondays' in which he has to do backflips off of the smallest jumps he can find and capture them on video. In between mini-flipping Matt works in the foam pit and sorts out a plumbing problem - and they say kids these days have no pragmatic abilities. A rainstorm gives him the opportunity to ride Green Park in Barcelona but he's back out on the dirt of La Poma at sunset in order to get a few last jumps in before dark. Click here to see the video! Suite aux deux articles précédents faisant partie d'une page entière du journal "L'Avenir" de ce lundi, voici le dernier petit encart intéressant le MTB..."Depuis deux ans, la Coupe de Monde xco ne fait plus escale dans notre pays. Houffalize s’est tourné pour plusieurs années vers un nouvel événement d’envergure en collaboration avec A.S.O et Golazo : le Roc d'Ardenne, mouture belge du célèbre Roc d'Azur français. Dans le camp des organisateurs malmédiens on ne cache pas un intérêt pour l'accueil dans le futur d'une manche du challenge mondial. Il est vrai que la ville ne manque pas d'atouts : circuits dignes d'une épreuve de Coupe du Monde, infrastructure d'accueil (hall omnisports et Malmedy Expo), parkings en suffisance, infrastructure hôteliète dans la région, compétence des clubs organisateurs, proximité de l'autoroute.. Reste l'épineux problème du budget d'organisation!"

Ce week-end : Velofollies à Gand : Mountainbike.be sera présent...

Pour la huitième année consécutive, du vendredi 17 au dimanche 19 Janvier 2014, l'ensemble du complexe de halles de Kortrijk Xpo sera rempli à ras bord : six salles vélo !

Velofollies n'a cessé de croître pour devenir le plus grand salon de la bicyclette dans le Benelux et cette édition sera une vitrine complète de tout ce que le marché belge peut offrir dans le domaine de vélos, composants, pièces, accessoires, engins et de vêtements de cyclisme.  Sur une superficie de plus de 40.000 m², ce ne sont pas simplement les nouveautés sportives mais aussi les nombreux fabricants nationaux et étrangers qui présenteront leurs vélos de loisirs, de plage, vélos de cyclotourisme et les bicyclettes pour enfants.

Les nouveaux arrivants comme Shimano et Cannnondale seront présents pour accueillir les nombreux nouveaux exposants tels que Merida et Sparte, et également un certain nombre de grandes marques telles que Merckx, Stevens Bikes et Isaac. 250 exposants, deux fois plus de marques et plus de 30.000 visiteurs attendus : les chiffres sont éloquents.

Seront présentés aussi les teams, Waasland MTB Team, Granville Factory Team, Versluys Pro Team VTT et équipe Narviflex-Nomadesk sur la grande scène de leur équipe pour 2014.  Le jour de l' ouverture de Velofollies - nocturne traditionnelle - Sven Nys sera présent sur le stand de Trek.

L'épreuve de BMX a peut-être disparu du programme Velofollies, mail il y aura des sauts à couper le souffle lors d'un show spectaculaire des pilotes de GroundBMX quatre fois par jour.  Aussi des artistes de trial Kenny Belaey et Wesley trois fois par jour .

Enfin, notre confrère, Mountainbike.be ne manquera pas ce plus grand salon du vélo du Bénélux. Avec le site partenaire Cyclo-cross.info, il sera présent dans leur stand du hall 6 .

All-around great stuff for your site visitors. Welcome to Milanowek (pronounced: mee-la-nofku) Poland, a little town close to Warsaw that was once a holiday retreat for the Polish elite. Aside from having a slew of historic, stately manors, it also happens to been one of the centers of action in the Polish dirt jumping scene.  For over 10 years the giant dirt mounds have risen and evolved with the skills of the local riders who still lovingly maintain them every day when they come to ride and shoot video clips. But with a generational migration towards park riding, Milanowek regulars are trying to add smaller jumps to entice the young'uns.
